14 “Therefore, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord: When my people are living in peace in their land, then you will rouse yourself.[b] 15 You will come from your homeland in the distant north with your vast cavalry and your mighty army, 16 and you will attack my people Israel, covering their land like a cloud. At that time in the distant future, I will bring you against my land as everyone watches, and my holiness will be displayed by what happens to you, Gog. Then all the nations will know that I am the Lord.
17 “This is what the Sovereign Lord asks: Are you the one I was talking about long ago, when I announced through Israel’s prophets that in the future I would bring you against my people? 18 But this is what the Sovereign Lord says: When Gog invades the land of Israel, my fury will boil over! 19 In my jealousy and blazing anger, I promise a mighty shaking in the land of Israel on that day. 20 All living things—the fish in the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the people on earth—will quake in terror at my presence. Mountains will be thrown down; cliffs will crumble; walls will fall to the earth. 21 I will summon the sword against you on all the hills of Israel, says the Sovereign Lord. Your men will turn their swords against each other. 22 I will punish you and your armies with disease and bloodshed; I will send torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and burning sulfur! 23 In this way, I will show my greatness and holiness, and I will make myself known to all the nations of the world. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
The Lord Our God speaks now...
My holy people; even as I have done before, I will use your fierce enemies to administer discipline to you. Even the fiercest of enemies, in a most unexpected way, will I use to administer discipline to you in the days to come.
Why, My love, must you pursue other lovers? Why, My love, must you insist on being unfaithful in your heart toward Me? I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have crowned you with loving kindness and tender mercies. I have done what no other would do, yet you return unfaithfulness of heart toward Me, your King and your Savior.
Out of the very mouth that pronounced Me King and Savior in your life, you spew curses and lies. Out of the very heart you invited Me to reign in for eternity, you invite strangers and foreigners to your bed. In the very place I am to be served and worshipped, you instead entertain and prop up yourselves. I cannot, I will not, overlook these things any more. My Great Heart is broken toward the condition of My beautiful bride-to-be.
Therefore, it is now time to show My love, to demonstrate My love, toward you. It is time to cleanse and purge, to shake and remove, so that the remnant may remain pure and the few that are faithful will find a resting place in Me.
My judgments are true and holy and just. They are founded on My love for you. My Great Heart finds no joy in judgment, no delight in punishing. I do what I must, to preserve and prepare you for our eventual wedding day.
The dirty dress will be replaced by one that is clean and white. The smudged face will be scrubbed clean and the dirty shoes will be cleaned and made to shine. The dirty and tangled hair will be put in order. The miss-shaped basket you carry will be made whole again, able to collect and carry beautiful flowers, for Me again. Your voice, harsh and broken, will be made sweet to My ear again.
Today, I declare My undying love and care for you, My love. With sadness, I release judgment to bring about a cleansing and purifying of My Church. It is time to seriously consider your true heart condition. It is time to seriously consider that it may be you, I am speaking to, not another. It is time to look deeply into My eyes and ask Me what I desire, instead of pursuing your own dreams and your own ways of living. It really is time to put away your selfishness, to shake it off, to remove it, to enter into true heart communion with Me and to follow your King.

Father God, Thank You for putting Your Spirit in me. Help me, Father, to look with my eyes, hear with my ears, and to set my heart and mind on all the things You are showing me.
