The Living One!

Reading from the Book of Luke 24:5-8, Revelation 1:18, Hebrews 9:28
Luke 24:5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words,

Jesus Christ loves us by shedding His own blood that we might be freed from sin. You are worth something because Jesus loves you and shed His blood for you.

Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Do not allow your sense of worth to be based on the opinion or actions of others.
Do not try to find your worth in how you look or what you do.
Do not try to find your worth in how other people treat you.
Let your sense of worth come through in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
You are secure in Him. He loves you!

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

You serve a risen Savior who lives in your life by faith. Take Him at His Word, and joy will fill your innermost being as you celebrate His appearance almost two thousand years ago. Enjoy Jesus, anticipating your Lord’s second return as He is the Living One!

It Is Finished!

Reading from the Book of Mark 15:42-47
42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
43 Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
44 And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.
45 And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.

Still. Cold. Stiff. Death has claimed its greatest trophy. He is not asleep in the tomb or resting in the tomb or comatose in the tomb; he is dead in the tomb. No air in his lungs. No thoughts in his brain. No feeling in his limbs. His body is as lifeless as the stone slab upon which he has been laid.
The executioners made sure of it. When Pilate learned that Jesus was dead, he asked the soldiers if they were certain. They were. It is finished. They pried loose the nails, lowered his body, and gave it to Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus the Pharisee.

46 And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.
47 And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Jesus beheld where he was laid.

As they sponged the blood from his beard, don’t you know they listened for his breath?
As they wrapped the cloth around his hands, don’t you know they hoped for a pulse?
Don’t you know they searched for life?
But they didn’t find it.
So they do with him what they were expected to do with a dead man.
They wrap his body in clean linen and place it in a tomb. Joseph’s tomb.
For three days, no one gets close to the grave.
But then....Sunday arrives....to be con't.

Look Within The Inner-Self

Reading from the Book of Psalms 51:5,6

Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being,
And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom.

Two verses with a powerful message. It says that, though we were born from our mother's with a sinful nature, God desires truth "in the inner most being."  That means that if we want to receive God's blessings, we must be honest with Him about our sins and ourselves.

We need to not let sin linger in our life. We all sin, and when we do, we need to be quick to repent. Then we can carry on our lives, staying confident at all times, and with a heart that is fixed and steadfast.

Look within the inner-self.

Listen To Him

Reading from the Book of Galatians 1:1-12
1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Have you ever thought that God could not or would not use you because of your past? No one was more likely to feel that way than the apostle Paul, who tried to destroy the early church. However, Paul received God's forgiveness and recognized that it was God who gave him his ministry and authority. No matter what your past, God wants to use you too.

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Many times we receive a message from God, we confer too much with flesh and blood. We go around looking for someone to assure us that we are doing the right thing. If we want to be popular with people, we cannot be a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Needing peoples approval in an unbalanced way can steal our destinies. We cannot always be God-pleasers and people-pleasers at the same time. What we need to do is beleive we have the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, within us. But since we have invited the Spirit of Truth to guide us, should we always shun advice from others? No, for "in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Proverbs 11:14

Like many other things, this is an area where we need balance. We can and should be open to receive advice from those who are wiser and more experienced than we are in an area, but we should not depend so much on what people say that we fail to listen to what God is saying.

Listen to Him.

His Plans & His Way!

Reading from the Book of Psalm 24:1-4, 25:12-15
24 The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it.For He has founded it upon the seas And established it upon the rivers.Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully.

We can take comfort that God will lead us in the path of righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with Him. God leads  each of us in the path that is right for us, a path that restores us in every way to the good places God has for us. God has a path predestined for your restoration, if you will allow Him to do so. He will guide you by His Holy Spirit along the unique way that leads to restoration and to being able to fulfill the great purpose He has in your life.

12 Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. 13 His soul will abide in prosperity, And his descendants will inherit the land. 14 The secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant. 15 My eyes are continually toward the Lord, For He will]pluck my feet out of the net.

Are you tired of being uncomfortable and being in places that do not fit God's call on your life? Are you tired of being spiritually uncomfortable, insecure, or anxious all the time? I have good news for you! Psalm 25: 12-15 tells us that we can be at ease if we fear God, worship Him, and do only the things He has planned for us without trying to force our own agendas or striving to do what we want to do. God Loves you and He has awesome plans for your life. Surrender to His plans and His ways!

The Rain Is Going To Fall

Reading from the Book of I Kings 18:41-46
1 Kings 18:41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,
43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.
44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.
45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezebel.
46 And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezebel.

God had brought drought and famine on Israel to show His power to Ahab. God was letting Ahab and his wicked wife, Jezebel, know that they needed to change their wicked ways, and if they did not, the circumstances were not going to be good.
After announcing to Ahab what was going to happen--rain was coming--Elijah went to the top of Mount Carmel. There he got down on his knees with his forehead on the ground. Worship strengthens our faith. Doubt could have caused Elijah to give up, but his worship kept him strong. When you worship God, He will send the rain of His Spirit upon you, and it will down all the 'Ahabs' and all other resistances in your life. Take your position and praise the Lord.
________________________________________________________

My holy people; the time of Ahab is passing, just as the time of Elijah is beginning. Ahab has no idea how to function in an outpouring, while Elijah knows exactly. The difference? My Living Word directs those that are Kingdom minded. Witchcraft and the thinking of the world directs those that are not.

You will find yourself in situations; over and over again, where Ahab is trying to lead and direct, instead of following. It is man's place to follow Me. It is Mine to speak and direct.

I am setting things in motion to turn the tables over on Ahab, upsetting the set order of religion. In it's place I will establish a new order: true following. Where the heart, not the opinions of men, will matter; Where the counsel of God, instead of the councils of men will determine what is done. The heart of Elijah was to establish My counsel above everything that was at that time set in place. His declaration, why even his very name depicts it: The Lord He is God!

When I came to earth to minister, I took upon Myself the state of a servant, humbling Myself to follow. I followed exactly what I saw Father doing. Although religion attempted to divert Me from that path, I determined to follow and did so exactly to Father's glory and fame.

In the days and weeks ahead there will be an unusual outpouring of My Spirit: A downpour, a heavy rain that will cause a shift in the minds and the programs of the church. This downpour will be similar to what is seen here by Elijah, for I am truly sending the spirit of Elijah at this time. The hearts of the fathers will turn to the children and the hearts of the children will turn to the fathers. See wholesale renewal and revival of relationships and of respect and honor to be the hallmarks. Even Ahab will listen to Elijah and follow. Elijah will only be looking one place - not to how things have been done, not to how the church board wants to do things, not to what seems orderly and reasonable, not according to the latest book or the latest teaching - no Elijah will only be looking one place - at My Face, to Me, to face to face communion and counsel with Me.

Follow Me. Watch and hear Me as the rain is going to fall.
