The Living One!

Reading from the Book of Luke 24:5-8, Revelation 1:18, Hebrews 9:28

^{Luke 24:5} And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? ⁶ He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, ⁷ Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. ⁸ And they remembered his words,

Jesus Christ loves us by shedding His own blood that we might be freed from sin. You are worth something because Jesus loves you and shed His blood for you.

^{Revelation 1:18} I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Do not allow your sense of worth to be based on the opinion or actions of others.
Do not try to find your worth in how you look or what you do.
Do not try to find your worth in how other people treat you.
Let your sense of worth come through in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
You are secure in Him. He loves you!

^{Hebrews 9:28} So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

You serve a risen Savior who lives in your life by faith. Take Him at His Word, and joy will fill your innermost being as you celebrate His appearance almost two thousand years ago. Enjoy Jesus, anticipating your Lord’s second return as He is the Living One!
